Finally Etisalat (UAE) and Mobaily (KSA) announced about making contract with “Apple” to release the iPhone 3G in UAE and KSA.

They will talk more about it soon.. they didn’t say much about it yet.. but they did confirm that they will release the iPhone, I use iPhone and using sim-unlocker so its not that big deal to me not saying I don’t suffer from the bad signal.. and signal lost some times.. and many people telling me that my phone is off.. so some times its a signal lost, and ofcourse this time we finally can enjoy the warranty.

Whats I’m wishing for that they provide services specially for iPhones like that they did for BlackBerys.

Finally after long waiting for the base band unlock, Since many people have upgraded their iPhone’s to the new 2.2 Firmware with the 2.28 baseband including my self.

How ever who ever upgraded to the latest 2.2 firmware wont get signal at all. since the new baseband locks it.

So basically the iPhone will turn into iPod touch.

Even thought the Dev-team warned us from upgrading to the 2.2 Firmware until they get us a costume version without the 2.28 baseband.

After it the Dev-Team were working so hard to get us a solution for the baseband lock.

Now the Dev-Team announced that they have completed their software and ready to use, keep in mind its still in beta version.

Question: How to download the software? and is it 100% success chance to unlock my iPhone baseband?

Answer:  You must have an unlocked iPhone and 2.2frimware with 2.28 base band, you can download it via Cydia. by adding this source, and its not 100% that might work for you, cause they still fixing the software issues.
